Sword Hunter Co-op on 12-Player Servers
Team hunts help. Stolen Catch prompts and borrowed merges do not. Share the pack, keep your base.
Sword Hunter servers hold 12 players. Friends can team up in the same world. That sentence is on the live Roblox page, and it is the whole co-op design: a shared island, shared packs, a shared giant gorilla, and private wallets, eggs, and merge tables. This page is the hunter-side etiquette and routing guide. It is not a clan roster and it is not a carry service.
Online co-op speeds hunts. It does not press F for you. It does not redeem WELCOME onto every hunter in the lobby. If you came here hoping a Rank 999 friend would skip your stick, read the early-game hunter plan instead and merge on your own base.

What a 12-player world is for
A full server is a farm amplifier. Twelve hunters on one dense pack convert loot faster than twelve hunters sightseeing on twelve beaches. The farm monsters loop does not change because you invited a friend: select a sword with F, auto-attack with R, convert loot, walk home, merge.
What co-op adds:
- Extra bodies on the giant red gorilla boss so the fight is a farm instead of a solo wall.
- Someone who already knows the purple portal route and can wait while you test the first volcano pack.
- A second pair of eyes on Catch prompts — which is also how Catch theft happens if you are sloppy.
What co-op does not add:
- Shared cash. Loot-to-cash is per account.
- Shared codes. Each hunter opens Store. See codes.
- Shared merges. The table at your base only listens to you.
- Shared pets. A fox walking beside your friend is not in your slot.
If a teammate “drops you a Rank 999,” they are lying or they are talking about a screenshot. Play the account in front of you.
Team hunts that actually pay
Pick one pack and stack. Sword Hunter is not a battle royale. Splitting across the starter tropics looks busy and pays like a drizzle. Call a beach, a cave mouth, or a volcano pad, then stay until loot is worth converting.
Rules that keep a 12-player farm from turning into a crowd:
- Meet at base first if anyone still swings a stick. Do not drag that hunter through the portal as a tour.
- Confirm everyone pressed F after their last merge. Auto-attack on R will happily swing the old blade in a group and you will blame the pack.
- Leave E free when a Catch prompt appears. Attack and Catch share that key. Read controls if that still surprises you.
- Convert loot on a timer, not when you are bored. Co-op makes it easy to stand in a pile and never walk home.
- Return to base together when a merge is ready. The island does not merge for the party.
Early stacks belong on tropical islands and the beach. Mid stacks belong on cave packs and gorilla routes from the mid-game hunter plan. Endgame stacks can live on volcano islands and the boss. Mixing those three on one “everyone follow me” path is how stick accounts bounce and quit.
Do not steal Catch prompts
Official art shows E Catch on wolves. Slimes, foxes, smaller gorillas, and birds also walk with prompts. On a busy 12-player island, several hunters will see the same sparkle. Stealing a Catch is the fastest way to make co-op feel like a PvP game this title is not.
Practical etiquette:
- If a teammate is already standing on the prompt, do not mash E. Your Attack will hit the creature and can ruin their Catch.
- Toggle R off when you approach a prompt you want. Auto-attack does not care that your friend started the Catch first.
- If you do not need that pet, walk around it. A duplicate slime is not worth a fight in party chat.
- Phoenix is a 0.01% showcase hunt. If it ever appears in a public server, do not body-block the hunter who actually has luck running from codes. You still have to hatch or catch it on your account later.
Catchable red and rainbow gorillas are pets. The giant red gorilla is a boss. Do not treat a boss fight as a Catch minigame. Combat notes and the dedicated boss route live on farm monsters and how to beat the gorilla.
Gorilla boss as a team hunt
The giant gorilla is the reason most parties form. It is the landmark on official art and the mid-to-late farm after steel is equipped. Bring hunters who can stand there. A full lobby of sticks is not a raid; it is a wipe screenshot.
Team gorilla habits:
- Merge first. Co-op does not lower the blade requirement. If the boss deletes you, you are early — go back to the early-game hunter plan.
- Toggle R for the long hit. Save E for a Catch on the walk in, not for panic mashing through the boss health bar.
- Do not stack twelve hitboxes on one pixel if the fight becomes a cartoon. Spread a step, then regroup.
- After the kill, convert loot. A party that only takes the postcard has not used co-op.
- The boss is not a pet. If you want a gorilla companion, that is a different creature on the hatch pets page.
For the full boss checklist — when to walk in, when to leave, what not to invent as a weak point — use how to beat the gorilla. This co-op page only covers the part where extra hunters help or get in the way.
Who should group with whom
Early with early. Stick-to-steel farmers should share nearby packs, redeem codes before the hunt, and catch a first slime, wolf, or fox without portal tourism. Details stay on early game.
Mid with mid. Steel equipped, pet walking, cave and gorilla on the calendar. This is where 12-player co-op starts to matter for real. Portal test pulls, egg cave hatches, and boss camps belong on mid game with a party that can finish the first volcano pack.
Do not “carry” a stick through New Area Adventure. Wednesday, September 2, 2026 opened that door. The door still hits back. A friend can show you the purple portal. A friend cannot make your stick deal Rank 999 damage.
Voice chat is optional. Roblox grouping is enough. Discord is for code pings on the Discord page, not a requirement to share a server.
After the party logs off
Co-op ends when the server empties. Your offline loop does not. Leave the highest blade you can swing F-selected so offline loot still runs. A party that farms the gorilla all evening and then logs out on the stick has donated the night.
Then spend the cash at your own merge table. Use merge swords and the sword rankings. Invite the same friends tomorrow if the etiquette held: shared packs, no stolen Catches, no fake carries. Twelve hunters is a farm. It is not a second inventory.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Sword Hunter questions.
How many players can join a Sword Hunter server?
12. Friends can team up in the same world. Cash, codes, pets, and merges stay per account even when the lobby is full.
Can teammates share redeemed codes?
No. Each hunter pastes strings in the Store box. A friend redeeming WELCOME does not copy 2x Money onto you. See codes.
Should we stack on the same pack?
Yes. One dense pack pays better than twelve empty beaches. Combat routing is on farm monsters.
Is it okay to Catch a wolf my teammate is standing on?
No. E is Attack or Catch. Mashing on someone else's prompt can ruin it. Toggle R off and walk around if the pet is not yours to take.
Can a group beat the giant gorilla for me if I still have a stick?
They can show you the fight. They cannot make the stick work. Merge first, then use how to beat the gorilla with a blade that stands there.
When should friends start grouping?
Island packs anytime. Portal and gorilla camps after steel is equipped. Match stages using early game and mid game instead of mixing stick accounts into lava.
