Sword Hunter Hatch eggs and catch pets

Pets in Sword Hunter walk with you while you hunt, and they come from two places: eggs you hatch and creatures you catch in the world. The game is a free Roblox incremental simulator, so a fox or wolf is not a paid requirement. It is extra power and extra company on a 12-player island while you farm cash for the next merge.

Eggs you will actually hatch

Two eggs show up in player loops again and again:

• Fox Egg — the code-facing egg. When a Fox Egg is in the live codes list, redeem it in the Store bottom box before you farm. Orange foxes come from this egg.
• Rainbow Egg — the luck-facing egg. Rainbow rolls are why people save these instead of opening them next to a stick.

This walkthrough does not reprint the code table. Codes expire. Open the codes hub, follow how to redeem if you cannot find the box, and check how to get more codes when the list is dry.

Hatch when you are at a calm spot, not while auto-attack is chewing a pack. If a hatch gives you something you already have, keep farming. If it gives you a fox you did not have, take it on the next island route immediately so you feel the difference.

E Catch in the world

Wild pets are not eggs. They stand in the world with a catch prompt. Official art shows E Catch on a blue wolf. That is the control: face the pet, make sure auto-attack is off, press E.

Catch loop:

1. Toggle R off so E does not keep attacking.
2. Face the wolf, fox, slime, gorilla, or bird.
3. Press E.
4. Toggle R back on and return to the pack.

If you skip step 1, you will swear Catch is broken. It is not. Auto-attack stole the key. Details sit on the controls page. On mobile, the Catch button is the same action; keep your thumb off Auto Attack while the prompt is up.

Blue wolves are the tutorial-looking catch. Rainbow wolves are the shiny version of the same idea. Do not empty a whole session camping one spawn unless you are specifically hunting a rainbow or the phoenix.

Pets from official art

Work with the roster the game actually shows, not a fan-made bestiary:

• Blue wolf — the E Catch mascot. Stop a farm for this if you have no pet yet.
• Rainbow wolf — same body, luckier coat. Worth the four-step catch break.
• Orange fox — Fox Egg result. A first-hour pet if a code is live.
• Slime and rainbow slime — easy to walk past if you are staring only at wolves. Check the prompt.
• Red gorilla and rainbow gorilla — pet versions, not the giant boss. Do not confuse a catchable gorilla with the huge red boss you fight for loot.
• Blue or gold bird — flying roster pieces you catch the same way, with E, auto-attack off.
• Phoenix at 0.01% — the rare hunt. Treat it as a long-term goal, not a guaranteed hatch from one Rainbow Egg.

If a creature is not on that list, do not invent a drop rate for it here. The pet tier list is where keep-or-replace calls belong. This page is how you obtain them.

Phoenix: 0.01%, not hour one

The phoenix is listed at 0.01%. That number means you should not stall your merge ladder waiting for one. Keep merging swords, keep parking blades for offline loot, and take phoenix chances when you are already on the islands for a farm. Standing still on one tile for an hour is how you fall behind Rank 999 while someone else merges.

When a phoenix does appear, treat it like the most important Catch of the week. Toggle auto-attack off. Clear the prompt. Do not let a friend walking past the same spawn distract the camera. Servers hold 12 players; rare pets can draw a crowd. You still have to press E yourself.

Pets versus merges

A pet is a multiplier on the farm that funds merges. It is not a replacement for the LV.1 stick to Rank 999 ladder. If you have cash for a steel or gold blade and also an egg, hatch the egg, then merge. If you have cash for a merge and no egg, merge. If you have a Fox Egg sitting unopened while you complain about loot, open the egg.

The merge swords guide and the sword tier list cover the blade side. Use both so you do not spend every coin on eggs you do not have. Codes that give eggs are free; shop panic is not required.

A clean pet session

1. Redeem live egg codes.
2. Hatch Fox and Rainbow Eggs in a safe spot.
3. Farm a tropical island or beach pack with auto-attack on.
4. Break for E Catch whenever a wolf, slime, gorilla, or bird you want appears.
5. Do not portal into a new area just to pet hunt unless your sword can already survive there. The new areas guide is for geared hunters.
6. Park your sword before you log off so the next session starts with cash, not with a blank island.

Friends can call out rainbow slimes in chat. They cannot hatch your Fox Egg. Keep the beginner plan in mind if you still have no pet at all: one wolf or one fox is enough to finish the first hour.

The next time you see a blue wolf and your thumb goes to Attack, stop. Turn R off, press E, and then go back to funding the blade. Pets are a catch and hatch habit, not a second game you play instead of Sword Hunter.
