Sword Rankings

Every Sword Hunter session starts on a stick. The rest of this page is the visible ladder from that stick to the Rank 999 rainbow and blue blades that show up in official art. Read it before you dump loot-cash into a merge you cannot finish. For the full ranking method, stay aligned with the tier list hub: progression power, catch or hatch cost (here: merge cost), and offline loot. We still do not publish fake DPS.

Return to your base to merge after a hunt, not in the middle of a gorilla pack. Press F to select the new sword so auto-attack on R does not keep swinging the stick. Equipped blades keep collecting offline loot, which is why a finished merge is worth more than a shop flex you never wear.

How this sword list is graded

Swords are graded as a spending order, not as a lore ranking.

  • S — Rank 999 rainbow and Rank 999 blue. These are the endgame markers in live screenshots. You do not start here.
  • A — Gem cave sword and the new sword tier called out on August 31, 2026. These are the mid-to-late merges that change which monsters you can stand next to.
  • B — Starter steel. First real upgrade. This is the blade that makes the early islands feel like a farm instead of a tutorial.
  • C — Stick. You must leave it, but it is the only honest day-one weapon.

If two blades look similar in a thumbnail, keep the one you can actually merge this session. A rainbow LV.999 on a loading screen is not in your inventory.

C — Stick

The stick is the spawn weapon. It exists so the first hunt can start without a store purchase. Use it to tag nearby monsters, convert the first loot pile into cash, and walk home. Do not romanticize it. Do not spend Robux trying to skip the entire ladder unless you already understand the merge table. Redeem Sword Hunter codes first; several live codes on the Roblox description are there to hand you cash, luck, or a free sword so the stick phase is short.

While you are on the stick, stay on the starting islands. The purple portal and the giant red gorilla boss are not stick content. Follow the early-game hunter plan until steel is on your back.

B — Starter steel

Starter steel is the first merge that matters. It is the point where monster packs stop feeling like a chore and start paying for the next merge. Farm, cash out, merge, press F, farm again. That is the whole early loop. If you still swing the stick after a successful merge, you did not select the new blade.

Steel is also the first offline engine. Leave it equipped when you log out so loot trickles in. A hunter who merges steel and then equips a cosmetic they cannot swing is paying a tax. Keep steel on until the cave blade is actually owned.

A — Gem cave sword

The gem cave sword is the mid-game visible upgrade: a heavier blade tied to the cave and egg spaces you reach after the first islands. You should not buy it with panic cash. Clear monster farms that you can finish, hatch or catch a workhorse pet, then merge. The cave sword is the usual ticket toward the portal route and toward gorilla packs that bounce stick users.

Treat cave cash as merge fuel, not egg spam. Eggs are a pet problem. Swords are a base problem. Mixing those budgets is how mid-game hunters stall.

A — New sword tier (August 31, 2026)

The live Roblox description from the August 31, 2026 update says a new tier sword has arrived and that upgrading it unleashes massive power. That is the entire official note. This wiki does not invent a name, a damage formula, or a patch ID around that sentence. When you see a new merge rung in your base after that update, slot it in the A band until Rank 999 is realistic. Stay tuned for the optimizations the same description promised, and track them on patch notes instead of a fake changelog.

S — Rainbow LV.999 and Rank 999 blue

Rainbow LV.999 and Rank 999 blue are the endgame showcase blades. Official art puts a hunter on those ranks with a bright rainbow or blue sword. That is the goalpost for the endgame hunter plan. Getting there is a long merge chain plus an offline engine, not a single lucky code.

Do not read Rank 999 as a PvP title. It is a merge rank. The number is a progression flag: your base has climbed far enough that new areas, phoenix hunts, and gorilla boss camps start to make sense. If you are not there yet, you are not late. Sword Hunter only released on July 31, 2026.

When you finally merge into this band, F-select immediately and leave the blade on overnight. Offline loot is the reason the S band exists. A Rank 999 sword that sits in a menu while you swing steel is a wasted merge.

Spending order that does not lie

  1. Redeem codes. Use the code checker and the how to redeem steps so you do not mistype LIKE1000 or UPDATE.
  2. Merge stick into steel.
  3. Equip a B-tier pet if you have one.
  4. Merge toward the gem cave sword.
  5. Only then plan Rank 999.

The merge planner is a quiet checklist for that order. Scripts that claim they auto-merge for you live on the auto-merge page with the usual account-risk warning. This ranking page does not tell you to break Roblox rules.

What we will not invent

No DPS column. No crit table. No hidden “true damage” percent. No numbered patch like 1.4.2. If a YouTube thumbnail promises a secret sword we have not seen in official art, it does not go on this list. If the New Area Adventure adds a volcano-only blade, we will name it after it is visible in the live world, not before.

Co-op on 12-player servers can speed a farm, but friends cannot press merge for your account. Bring the blade you own. Rank the ladder you can climb tonight, then go hunt.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Sword Hunter questions.

What is the best starter sword in Sword Hunter?

The stick is the only starter. Merge it into starter steel as soon as codes and early loot pay for the base upgrade. Do not wait for Rank 999 art to appear in your inventory.

Is Rank 999 a player rank or a sword rank?

On this wiki it is a sword and merge marker: rainbow LV.999 and Rank 999 blue blades shown in official art. It is not a celebrity player list. See the endgame hunter plan for the progression reading.

Should I buy the new sword tier with Robux?

The August 31, 2026 description says to upgrade the new tier for massive power. It does not require Robux. Farm loot, convert to cash, and merge at base. Codes on the game page can shorten the cash wait.

Why is there no DPS column?

Blade Evolution Tycoon has not published a public damage table. Inventing numbers would make this list look official when it is not. We rank by merge progression, cost, and offline loot instead.

When do I press F after a merge?

Immediately. F selects the new sword. If auto-attack is still on R, you can keep swinging the stick and waste the merge. Full key notes live on the controls guide.

Does the gem cave sword beat rainbow LV.999?

No. Cave steel is an A-band mid merge. Rainbow LV.999 and Rank 999 blue sit in S. Climb the ladder in order so you can actually farm the cash for the next rung.
