Sword Hunter Hunt monsters for loot and cash

Auto-attack packs, convert loot, and only then pick a fight with the giant gorilla.

Farm Monsters in Sword Hunter

Monster farming is the engine under every other Sword Hunter system. You hunt, loot drops, loot becomes cash, and cash merges swords at base. Pets and offline collection ride on top of that engine. If the farm is wrong, the merge ladder stalls even when you know the Rank 999 goal by name.

This page is the hunt-to-cash loop, how to use auto-attack without blocking catches, when to change islands, and how to treat the giant red gorilla boss as a farm target instead of a wall. Pair it with the merge swords guide so you actually spend the cash, and with the controls guide so R stays on during packs.

The loop, without extra systems

  1. Select your current sword with F.
  2. Walk into a pack your blade can actually kill.
  3. Toggle auto-attack on with R.
  4. Stay inside the pack until loot piles up.
  5. Convert loot to cash.
  6. Either merge at base or park the sword for offline loot.

That is the whole farm. Eggs, portals, and bosses are optional branches. New hunters should run this loop on tropical islands or the beach with a stick or the first steel or gold blade. The beginner guide puts a first farm before a first merge on purpose: you need cash on the stick before the stick can leave.

Where to stand

Sword Hunter’s world is tropical islands, a beach, a jungle cave, a volcano, and a purple portal gate. Early farms belong on the islands and beach. The jungle cave is for hunters who already merged into a cave gem sword or something in that neighborhood. The volcano and portal wait until the new areas guide says you are ready.

Pick one pack and empty it. Walking every shoreline with auto-attack on looks busy and pays worse than committing to a dense group. If a pack takes forever, you are overgearing the island in the wrong direction: your sword is too weak, not too bored. Back up. Do not take that as a signal to jump the purple portal.

Friends on a 12-player server can share a pack. Standing on twelve different beaches does not. If you team up, stack on the same monsters so loot comes in a stream instead of a drizzle.

Auto-attack during farms

Leave R on while you clear. Auto-attack is the farm tool. Turn it off only when:

  • A catch prompt appears and you want E to mean Catch.
  • You are walking back to base and do not need to swing at scenery.
  • You are about to fight the giant gorilla and want each hit deliberate.

Catch breaks should be short. The pet hatch guide lists which wolves, slimes, gorillas, and birds are worth stopping for. A blue wolf with no pet on your account is worth a break. A duplicate slime in the middle of a cash push is not.

On mobile, keep the Auto Attack button lit during the pack and your thumb away from Catch unless a prompt is up. Bumping the toggle off is the usual reason a mobile farm suddenly feels slow.

Giant red gorilla boss

The giant red gorilla is a boss, not a catchable pet. Catchable red and rainbow gorillas exist on the pet roster; this creature is the huge one in the landscape. Official shots put a hunter facing it across tropical islands. Treat it as a loot check, not as a first-hour errand.

Before you fight it:

  • Merge off the stick. A LV.1 twig is not a boss plan.
  • Press F so you are holding the blade you paid for.
  • Decide whether auto-attack stays on. Many hunters leave it on once the sword is strong enough. If you keep lunging at the wrong target, toggle R off and tap E for attacks.
  • Do not confuse the fight with a phoenix hunt. The 0.01% bird is a catch. The gorilla is damage.

If the boss does not die, you are here too early. Return to island packs, merge at base, and come back. There is no secret emote. Cash and a better sword are the strategy. After a kill, convert loot and ask whether the next merge is in reach. Boss loot that sits unspent is just a screenshot.

When to move packs

Move when kills are instant and loot feels flat, or when kills never happen. Both are signals.

Instant kills mean you can try a denser island, the jungle cave, or, if you already merged, the purple portal route. Never-kills mean you should step back toward the beach. The volcano is not a personality test.

Redeem working codes before you decide a farm is dry. A cash or luck code can change the same pack without you moving. This page will not list the codes. Use the redeem steps if the Store box is hiding.

Farm mistakes

Boss first, merge never. The gorilla is a destination for a blade, not a replacement for the ladder on the merge page.

Catching through auto-attack. You waste both the pet and the pack. Toggle R.

Farming with the stick after a merge. Press F.

Splitting from friends. One pack, twelve players, is better than twelve empty beaches.

Skipping offline parking. If you are about to leave Roblox, the next farm is the one your sword runs without you. Set that up on the offline loot page.

Run one clean loop after you finish this article: select sword, auto-attack a pack you can kill, convert loot, merge or park. The giant gorilla will still be there when the blade is ready. The Guides Hub can send you to pets or portals next, but only after this engine has cash in it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Sword Hunter questions.

How do I farm monsters in Sword Hunter?

Select your sword with F, walk into a pack you can kill, turn auto-attack on with R, then convert loot to cash. Spend that cash on the merge swords loop.

Should auto-attack stay on while I farm?

Yes, until a catch prompt appears or you want careful boss hits. Toggle details are on the controls guide.

When should I fight the giant red gorilla?

After you have merged off the stick and can kill island packs quickly. If the boss does not die, go back to normal farms and merge again.

Is the giant gorilla the same as the gorilla pet?

No. Catchable red and rainbow gorillas are pets on the hatch pets page. The giant gorilla is a boss you fight for loot.

Where should beginners farm?

Tropical islands and the beach with the stick or first merged blade. Save the jungle cave, volcano, and purple portal until you have a real sword.

Can friends speed up a Sword Hunter farm?

Yes. Servers hold 12 players. Stack on the same pack instead of splitting across the map. Invite them after you both know E, R, and F.
